Sparkling Signal Boost

Clean carbonation + micro-bitter + mineral edge. Built for focus without the crash.

  • Yield: 1 drink
  • Time: 2 minutes
  • Use-case: Logic-heavy sessions • Late-lunch wake-up • “Stay online” mode

Ingredients

  • 12 oz plain carbonated water (cold)
  • 1/2 tsp lion’s mane powder
  • 1/8 tsp instant espresso (optional, “micro-spark”)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional, to round bitterness)
  • Pinch salt (optional, increases clarity)
  • Dusting Ceylon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp cocoa powder (optional, adds depth)

Method

  1. Make a concentrate. In a small glass, dissolve lion’s mane (and espresso, if using) with 1–2 tbsp warm water. Stir until smooth.
  2. Balance. Stir in maple syrup and a pinch of salt (if using). Add cinnamon/cocoa last.
  3. Charge. Pour the concentrate into a tall glass, then slowly add 12 oz cold carbonated water. Stir gently once—don’t kill the bubbles.
  4. Deploy. Sip over 10–20 minutes. This is a signal, not a chug.

Tuning

  • Sharper focus: add the espresso + keep maple at 1 tsp.
  • Night-safe: skip espresso; keep cinnamon + cocoa.
  • Ultra-clean: carbonated water + lion’s mane only (no sweet, no extras).

Note: If you feel edgy, reduce espresso next time (or remove it entirely) and pair with a few bites of protein or beans.
